This means there is totally no money involved between two members switching items. No one is required to pay anything to SwitchPlanet but an option for donation is present. It seems that SwitchPlanet.com is a non-profit organization as they according to them; donated funds will go to charitable organizations like Red Cross, BGCA, Nature Conservancy, American Cancer Society and Child’s Play Charity.
